Special Meeting – Budget Hearing
5/17/21

Meeting was called to order at 10:10am. Pledge was said. Present were Janice Painter, John Shewalter, William Newyear and Susan Wonderly.  Guests present were Amy Bruno, Shanna Gibbons, Alysha Wogee.

Bill Newyear stood in as Chairperson for the meeting.

Approval of acceptance: Janice Painter made a motion, and John Shewalter seconded the motion and the motion carried.

Susan Wonderly: She reviewed the budget (see attached).

Vouchers: The vouchers were signed by the Board Members.

Adjournment: John Shewalter made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Janice Painter seconded, and the motion carried. Meeting adjourned @ 10:14am.

Board Meeting Minutes – draft 05/17/21

Meeting was called to order at 10:15a.m. Pledge was said. Present were Susan Wonderly, Janice Painter and Bill Newyear. Guests present were Amy Bruno, Shanna Gibbons, Alysha Wogee.

Approval of Agenda/Consent of agenda: John Shewalter was the first to approve the Agenda as written and Janice Painter seconded the motion and the motion carried.

Public Comment: None.

Approval of Minutes from 4/12/21 meeting: John Shewalter made a motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting; Janice Painter seconded and the motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: (attached) Susan noted that the current report is attached and it was reviewed. 

Vouchers were signed by board members that were present in the previous meeting: Special Meeting – Budget Hearing 5/17/21.

Librarian’s report: Susan discussed the Librarian’s Report (attached). 

Emergency Items: None

Review of Current Hours and Services: Amy Bruno stated that we are still required to wear facemasks, as ordered by the Governer. 

Bank of America Sign Cards – A motion to remove Susan Wonderly from the bank account sign cards at Bank of America was made by Janice Painter and John Shewalter seconded the motion and the motion a carried. 

Committee Report on Hiring Process: Susan Wonderly state that there are five potential candidates for her replacement and that we would be interviewing them this coming week. 

Board Member/Director Comments: Amy Bruno stated that we have purchased the new computers but they haven’t come in yet, so the employee in-service/installation would be happening later than planned.

Next meeting: June 14, 2021 @ 10:00am.

Adjournment: Bill Newyear made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and John Shewalter seconded, and the motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 10:47.
