Board of Trustees Regular Meeting December 10, 2018
Meeting called to order at 10:00am. Present were Carlton McCaslin, Bobby Edwards, Janice Painter, Joy Marshall and Susan Wonderly. Guests present were Mandy Cafeo, Amy Bruno, Alysha Wogee.
Public comment: None
Consent Agenda: Adoption of Agenda/Consent of agenda: Bobby made a motion to accept the agenda; Joy seconded and the motion carried.
Acceptance of minutes of 11/13/18 meeting: Joy made a motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting as written; Janice seconded and the motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: (attached) Susan presented the report. Bobby made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report; Joy seconded and the motion carried.
Reports/Discussions:
Capital Projects- Main Electrical Breaker. Susan reports that VEA checked the transformers, etc., and have said that all is well from their end.
Calendar update: The next regular meeting will be held Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, @ 10:00am. Bob requested (during Public Comments) that a brief closed meeting follow the regular meeting in order to discuss personnel policy.
Librarian’s Report: (attached). Susan explained E-rate. Some discussion followed regarding the homeless man who stays so late; Susan was asked to consider writing a letter to the DA to clarify laws regarding use of public buildings and the homeless.

Public Comment: Bob asked if employees are ever given year-end or incentive bonuses; brief discussion followed.
Joy made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Janice seconded, and the motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:42am.
