Board of Trustees Regular Meeting March 11, 2019
Meeting called to order at 10:04 am. Present were Carlton McCaslin, Bobby Edwards, Joy Marshall, Janice Painter and Susan Wonderly. Guests present were Mandy Cafeo, Amy Bruno, and Alysha Wogee.
Public comment: None
I. CONSENT AGENDA
Adoption of Agenda/Consent of agenda: Bobby made a motion to accept the agenda; Joy seconded and the motion carried.
Acceptance of minutes of 2/11/19 meeting: Bobby made a motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting as written; Janice seconded and the motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: (attached) Susan presented the report. Joy made a motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report; Janice seconded and the motion carried.
Reports/Discussions:
Tentative Budget: (attached) Susan presented figures for the Budget FY19-20. Brief discussion followed. Bob asked what Capital Project might be planned for the new year and Susan explained about having new carpet installed. Bob suggested adding a small raised platform area (“stage”) in the meeting room while the floor is being done. Susan suggested looking into a portable stage and she will get estimates for that. Bob made a motion to accept the Tentative Budget as presented; Joy seconded and the motion carried.
Calendar update: The next regular meeting will be held Monday, April 8, 2019, @ 10:00am.

Public Comment: Janice asked a couple of questions about the charter school presentation from the last meeting; some discussion followed. Both Susan and Alysha mentioned that the woman who made the presentation had tried to used Library programs to present her school to parents; she was asked to leave.
Bob made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Janice seconded, and the motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:35 am.
